Marquis Scott grew up in the inner city of Cleveland, OH. After graduating from high school, he attended Mount Mercy University where he excelled in basketball and earned a bachelor's degree majoring in Criminal Justice. After college Marquis Scott went on to play professional basketball in Mexico for three years before coming back to the states. Marquis got a job working as a chemical dependency counselor. While working as a counselor Marquis learned the importance of listening, problem solving, leadership, compassion, and customer service.  

In 2011 Marquis made a career change and decide to jump into the financial Industry.  Marquis quickly climbed the rank as a top producer due to his tireless work ethic, his ability to build trust with his clients, passion to help and problem solve. Marquis earned lots of awards and trips for his hard work and dedication. Marquis is experienced in many different loan products including, VA, FHA, Conventional, USDA and OHFA. His goal is always to put his clients first and try to put his clients in the best financial position possible. Marquis believes that communication is the most important part of the loan process and it's important that his clients understand each step in the process.

Marquis currently resides in Twinsburg, OH with his wife and four daughters, 2 cats, 1 dog, and 1 gecko. In Marquis’ free time you can find him at the comedy shows with his wife, having family time hanging out singing and dancing with his daughter and YES, still playing basketball.
